Two U-Rock vocal students have entered an international singing contest sponsored by the UK’s Vocal Council.
The students applied by submitting a video of their performance.
Karolina Moo, 12, entered Mon Histoire from Les Misérables. Abigail Moffitt, also 12, sang Wrecking Ball, which she performed at a recent showcase in Ottawa.
The contest closed on January 15 and was open to all aspiring singers. The overall winner will receive up to $1000 in prizes, media promotion and feedback from celebrity vocal coaches. Selected submissions will be featured in Vocal Council’s online magazine.
