Students perform at Art in the Park

Brian BrodersenBlog, News

About 45 of our most talented students rocked out at Stittsville’s Art in the Park on Sunday, the biggest public event we’ve ever had. We couldn’t be prouder of ALL our stars this year. Keep an eye out on the local paper for pictures.

Mayor Jim Watson dropped by with Counsellor Glen Gower and enjoyed the performances as did thousands of visitors from Stittsville and area.

The annual craft fair featured more than 100 vendors, the largest number to date.

The show was the second last of the U-Rock 2018-2019 school year. Our final, end-of-session show will be on June 22 at the Brass Monkey. U-Rock offers numerous performance opportunities to its students each year, so everyone gets a chance to shine.
