Attention U-Rock singers: The 2015 opening of the Carleton Place Farmer’s Market is this Saturday, May 16. Meet and hear last year’s singing contest winner, U-Rock Music School’s own Abigail Moffitt!
The 2nd annual Singing Contest will be held from 9 am – 11 am every Saturday starting this weekend and continuing throughout the summer and fall. Open to all non-professional singers of all ages and genres of music. The cost to register is $10 and the prizes range from 1st Prize – $500 to 4th Prize – $50.
The Carleton Place Farmers is located at Market Square, at the corner of Beckwith and Lake.
