Two of our amazing vocal students have placed in the top 25 for this year’s Ottawa Idol competition.
Sarah Culbert, 14 and Briana Kelford, 14 were selected from more than one hundred video finalist and then auditioned in person in the final cut for this year’s competition.
Two other very talented U-Rock singers, Andrew Waines, 19 and Samantha Clarke, 13, also made it through before the final cut.
Last year, U-Rock’s Karolina Moo and Shiane Rawlings also made it all the way to the top 12 where they performed at Ottawa Idol’s annual Christmas show and red carpet event.
There’s no doubt in our minds that Sarah and Briana will make it to the finals this year too and hopefully one of them will win the grand prize, a 30 hour recording deal.
