The snow is gone (we hope!) and most of us are longing for the warm days of summer. It may seem early to be thinking about what your rock stars are going to do this summer, but we are ready to rock out in the sunshine with lots of great lesson options for kids and teens age 4-18.
This summer at U-Rock Music School we are offering our famous flexible PRIVATE lesson six week programs for kids & teens age 7-18. PLUS we have a big selection of new six week GROUP lesson programs for kids age 4-12.
*children must be 4 years old on January 1/16 to register this summer.
All of our Summer Session programs & lessons run for 6 weeks starting from:
July 11th to August 19, 2016.
Private and Group Lessons are booked in for SIX 30 minute classes at any time you want during the summer session.

The Noize Team (8-12 yrs) group drum & percussion lessons. No experience needed. Noize kids will learn the basics of drums & percussion and make lots of music/noise far away from home! Drum kit not required.

Songwriters Club (8-12 yrs) group lessons.
Fun, very creative and instructional “how to write and record songs” program ideal for kids who love to write.

Summer Flexi-Fun PRIVATE Lessons:
(Ages 7-18 yrs.)
Individual instruction on any or all of the musical instruments below. Not sure if you want to learn drums or guitar? Try both! Try any combination you’d like during our flexi-fun summer schedule. Just book the dates and times you want and pick what you’d like to learn at each lesson.
Instruments are typically not provided for private lessons but you can try everything once, on us.

*Private lessons run from 3pm – 7pm Mondays through Thursdays, cost is $26.50 per 30 minute lesson.
There are no lessons on Saturdays & Sundays.

BITTYPOPS (all-girls singing group age 4-5)
Got divas? We have the best singing program for all ages and our BITTYPOPS girls will LOVE learning to sing and perform as a group to their favourite pop tunes. No experience needed.
THE ROXIES (all-girl singing/dance/performance band age 6-10)
This group started last year with HUGE success and the girls love having the stage to themselves with lots of fun props and great pop tunes and dance moves to learn. Best class ever for your mirror-loving, constantly singing little diva!
ROKBOYZ (all-boys singing group age 6-10)
This is the group for future stars as we groom the next generation’s One Direction! Got a boy who loves to sing? This is the place for him to learn singing basics and belt out all his favourite pop, rock and rap songs while working as team with his band mates.
KIDZ BANDS (age 6-7)
This CRAZY POPULAR group allows kids to explore all band instruments like drums, guitar, bass, keyboard, percussion and vocals. They will also learn to write songs and work as a team to create a band name and a band logo plus lots of musical fun. It doesn’t get more fun than this!
THE CRUSHERS (teen band age 13+)
This band experience has been a stepping stone for many of our award winning performers at U-Rock. It’s the ideal add-on to private lessons for teens who want to grow as individual artists and as part of a team.
UKULELE KIDZ (age 7-12)
Learn the perfect campfire instrument along with other beginners. Lessons are fun and include all learning materials along with lots of great current pop/rock songs. Just bring your own ukulele. Ideal for younger kids and anyone who loves the sound of a uke. This smaller 4-string instrument is easy to master and play.
THE NOIZE TEAM (age 8-12)
If you’ve got kids who love to bang on stuff, send them our way! This group lesson explores the basics of sound, rhythm and keeping a beat. Interactive play with percussion instruments and a drum kit. Students do not have to own a drum kit to participate. Save your ears, just sign them up. We have earplugs.
SONGWRITERS CLUB (age 8-12)
Got jingles and songs bouncing around in your brain? This very popular group will teach budding writers how to create/construct their own hit songs and then record their original tunes. We explore the fun of writing lyrics and how to put words to music. Finished songs will be recorded to bring home!
HOW DO I SIGN UP MY ROCK STARS for summer lessons?
Minimum purchase of 6 Group or 6 Private lessons is required to sign up for our summer programs.
You then book your STARS into our online schedule any time throughout our summer session dates from July 11 to August 19.
Online payment by credit card now available for your convenience.
If you prefer, just send us an email with the dates and times you’d like and we will sign your rock stars up for you right away.

CAN WE SHARE LESSONS?
Private lessons CAN be shared among siblings from the same family.
Sharing is restricted to immediate family only, ages 7-18.
Group lessons cannot be shared.
