So proud of Sonia Chirila for her triple win at the Joey awards in Vancouver. Sonia won best featured actress in a commercial (age 12-15), best featured actress in a feature film for her performance in Pet Sematary AND the big surprise…most promising performer!
Sonia, a former vocal student at U-Rock, was a crowd favourite at our concerts for several years with her energetic and dramatic performances. To us she will always be the Little Red Wagon girl in the red boots.
The Joey Awards recognizes young performers across Canada for their hard work and dedication to their craft.
