U-Rock vocalist, Seojin Kim, age 12, recording a song in Korea

One of our best young singers, Seojin Kim, 12, is currently living back at home in Korea where she’s still singing away. Seojin recently spent time in a recording studio and we can’t even begin to tell you how proud we are of her accomplishments.

She lived and attended school in Stittsville for two years, in order to improve her English language skills. During her second year in our community, she became a vocal student at U-Rock Music School where she applied herself to her craft and became one of our most accomplished singers.

She vowed the audience at U-Rock’s music concert last June with a dynamic performance of Beating Heart by Ellie Goulding. Then blew away the crowd and impressed the local media with her version of Count On Me by Bruno Mars, at Stittsville’s Canada Day concert.

We miss Seojin’s enthusiastic personality, great voice and smiling face every week at U-Rock School this year. We are all cheering for her continued success in her home country, from afar, hoping she will soon come back to visit us, share her talent and perform with us again.

Best of luck Seojin!
