We’d like to wish all our families a great and musical summer. Thank you to you and all your little rock stars for making this year such an amazing success.
We’ve begun scheduling fall lessons and have already had a good number of requests for private lessons, group kidz sessions and band. Lesson times are assigned on a first-come-first-served basis, so reserve your time as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. All you need to do is send us a note with the day and time you’d prefer and provide a $100 deposit, which will be applied to your fall lessons.
We’re adding ukulele and harmonica lessons to our line up – two instruments that are a great entree to music, especially for younger students. Let us know if you’d like to know more about that offering.
Private lessons are 3-8 p.m., Monday through Thursday. U-Rock Kidz is Wednesday, 6:30 – 7 p.m. and is open to 5 and 6-year-olds. Band is Thursday, 7:30 to 9 p.m. and is open to private students aged 11-plus.
If you missed our show last weekend, you’ll have a chance to see our talented students perform on Canada Day at Sacred Heart High School and at the Arnprior Fair on August 16.
Here’s what your 5-18-year-olds can learn at U-Rock: pop/rock vocals, electric and acoustic guitar, bass guitar, drums, ukulele and harmonica.
