Announcing @Home Sessions

Cathy HallesseyNews

On March 23, we’re launching our @Home sessions to help keep you sane in these crazy times.

We know it’s no fun to be stuck at home. So we’ll be announcing fun activities every day and getting your participation…it’s gonna be EPIC!

Music is one of the best ways to help your child cope with stress, so we want to help. We will be posting daily to our U-Rock Youtube channel with fun & creative activities for all of our students, their siblings, parents and any friends who wish to participate, at no cost. Our goal is to keep things as normal as possible for the kids and help support our community to be creative by encouraging more learning & fun during these unusual times.

Skype tips

To make sure the experience is as seamless as possible, follow these tips on using Skype:

  • Make sure you’re using the newest version of Skype.
  • Use headphones/earbuds for the best audio quality
  • Use a wired internet connection. If you must use wifi, sit close to the router to maximize speed.
  • Stop all other activities in the house that use bandwidth such as games, streaming and so on.

Stay safe everyone! We look forward to seeing you all online after March Break. Our daily videos on YouTube will begin March 23rd, everyone can join in!
